The 2010 System test will be held on Thursday August 12th at 19:30.

Please be ready to go at 7:30pm with your equipment set up at a location of your choice.  Coordination will be handled on 448.450 (negative offset; 100.0 Hz Tone) When you check into the net, we will need the following information:

  1) Your Callsign
  2) Your Name
  3) Which node(s) you can connect to for the test.

The Node list is:
145.050 - Ensign Peak "PEAK"
144.930 - Antelope Island"ISLAND"
144.970 - Mtn Dell"MDELL"
145.150 - Lewis Peak"LEWIS"

144.910 - Clayton Peak
145.130 - Clayton Peak

"CLAY"

We will then assign you a checkpoint identification to be used for the test.  After you have been assigned, please log in, and start using the system.  The following activities are recommended:
  • Entering runner times
  • Querying runner status
  • DNF'ing a runner
  • Getting the DNF list
  • Getting the Leads list
  • Try out the new "Final Check" "Incoming" and "Pending" commands.
  • And the myriad other things that you can find on the 2009 Race Commands Chart, located on the downloads page. Please take the time to read through the chart, so you will be more prepared.

What we are looking for:
  • Any problems you encounter.
  • Excessive system slow downs.
  • Please report those to Net Control. But remember, that we will be having multiple operators inputting data that is WAY out of order, so there may be some issues that crop up with that.  Those items don't need to be reported. (i.e. you DNF someone who has times past your stop).  It will be a little crazy, but the testing went well last year this way.
  • We anticipate that we will go no later than 9:30pm, but if you need to leave, just let Net Control know, so we can assign your Checkpoint identification to someone else.
  • If we have more stations than checkpoint ID's, we will make those operators INFO stations, that can only query data, and as slots become available, we'll move them into Checkpoints.

We will take comments/complaints/concerns over the air, but it would be great if you would keep a running log, if you encounter any issues, and email us after the test.  Screen Shots/Packet Logs are also helpful.

Thank you so much for your participation and efforts for the Wasatch 100!
