Runners take 1.25 hours to 2.5 hours to go from Pot Bottom (mile 93.13) to the finish in Midway at the Homestead Resort. There is a 1 1/3 mile climb up the dirt road as they leave the Pot Bottom aid station. Several small creeks and dry creek beds are negotiated and the road can be very dry and dusty since it is part of the ATV trail system of Wasatch State Park. After climbing onto the Crest Road of Wasatch State Park and turning left, the ATV trail down Lime Canyon is reached on the right side (up and over a slight rise). The trail drops steeply and at times lose rocks are a problem. Several junctions bring the runners to a gate about 2.7 miles from the top and through a closed gate up a short hill past a water tank and down through the colorful Big Tooth Maple groves and onto the road just across from the Wasatch State Park headquarters building. Runners can be met by the Wasatch Mountain State Park visitor center 0.7 mile away from the finish.
